📍 Bedroom, mushroom ritual, 2007
“I tried psilocybin mushrooms — dried, in tea. The very substance that has lifted millions of people out of depression, that has helped terminal patients find peace, did nothing to me. I felt the tea in my stomach, I felt the hour pass, but inside my skull there was only flat gray.”

NARRADOR: Perhaps the problem was the laboratory molecule. I tried mushrooms — the organic ally used in rituals for centuries.
EU INTERIOR: I waited. The same silence. The same flatness.
NARRADOR: Imaging studies would confirm: psilocybin also depends on 5-HT2A activation. With the receptors switched off, the mystical door remains locked.
